Analysis Of Chosen Artist

Donald McKinley Glover (born September 25, 1983) is an American actor, writer, producer, director, comedian, rapper, DJ, singer, and songwriter. He performs as a stage artist under the stage name Childish Gambino, and as a disc jockey, he performs under the name mcDJ.
After several self-released albums and mixtapes, Glover signed to Glassnote Records in 2011. He released his first album, Camp, on November 15, 2011 to generally positive reviews. His second studio album, Because the Internet, was released on December 10, 2013. Glover was nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2015, Best Rap Album for Because the Internet and Best Rap Performance for his single "3005" Glover's third album, "Awaken, My Love!", was released on December 2, 2016, spawning the hit single "Redbone", which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Glover was born at Edwards Air Force base, California and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. His mother Beverly, is a retired day care provider and his father Donald, is a retired postal worker. His parents also served as foster parents for 14 years. Glover was raised as a Jehovah witnesses. He attended DeKalb School of he arts and was voted 'Most likely to write for Simpsons' in his High school yearbook. 





Analysis of Record Label

Donald Glover is an American actor as well as a singer and song writer. After several self-released albums and mixtapes, Glover signed to Glassnote Records in 2011.
