The filming day went well. After all of the set backs, I was finally able to film on the 6th December. The day went smoothly, and everything went to plan.
Within arrival, I began setting up the equipment - Tripod and Camera. As there was a lot of equipment to carry, I bought a friend along to help me set up. Filming began at around 2:15pm. There were no problems with the camera, as i had made sure to bring a couple of SD cards in case one ran out which had happened to me in the past. I also charged up the battery over night in order for preparation on the day.
During the filming process, my actor was well aware of what he was going to be doing which made the process go a lot faster than i thought. This is because I mad sure to go through my storyboard and shot list so i knew exactly what shots needed to be collected. Also, the location set was not busy at all as i decided to film on a weekday when people were at work and school and therefore it made the process much easier. During the walk down to the location, I used the camera to take different location shots to add in to my music video to set the scene. I also did this to make sure i had as much footage when it came to the editing.
Overall, the filming day went to plan and everything went smoothly. I was able to collect all the shots i needed plus some location shots. The weather was also good and did not affect the camera. I am happy with how well the day went and i felt as if it was very productive. The only issue that i came across was the location to buy flowers as there were no shops around the location i was in and therefore i has to compromise and instead shoot in a different location. This has not really affected my music video as i have still got the shots however they are not what i intended them to be but this can be edited out.
